We start our bicycle tour from the Szabadkígyós Railway Station. The station is located far from the village, so although we leave from Szabadkígyós, we will take a last look at the sights of this settlement. Leaving the railway, we reach a T junction on the Szabadkígyós-Gyula highway. Here we turn left and after a few meters turn right and ride towards Békéscsaba.

We reach the city after 5 kilometers of riding. This is a typical city in Alföld, it is worth to spend some time in the city center. The oldest building - the Kistemplom (Little temple) - of the city was built in 1745.

Cycling further, we leave Csaba on Orosházi Road. After a semicircle, after 12 km we reach Újkígyós until the next settlement. From here it is only a few kilometers away from Szabadkígyós. The main attraction of the town is the Wenckheim Castle.

Heading towards Gyula, we leave the village on our left hand and we pass by the Wenckheim crypt. Soon we will come to an intersection. At the beginning of our tour we turned here towards Békéscsaba, but now we come back straight to the starting point as we turn right.
