We start our bike tour from Pásztó, the train station. We leave the town on an asphalt road following the green tourist sign. After Pásztó we will come along Hasznos. We cycle along the main road of the settlement (Alkotmány Road), then we turn left at the end of the village and follow the green tourist sign on the dirt road.
At around 6 kilometres, we turn right to the green castle ruin sign that leads us to the ruins of Csetri Castle. From here you have a beautiful view of the Hasznos Reservoir, which was created by damming the Kövecses Creek. We cycle back to the green tourist sign and we continue our trip on it.

Our road continued besides an unused airport, after which we finally reach the abundance. The first 4-5 kilometres from here are not very spectacular as we cycle in the woods and we are climbing 3-7% uphill, following the two-sign forest path that leads us to the Ágasvár branch. The green tourist sign sometimes leaves our road and sometimes it comes back to our road.

There was a huge change in the quality of the road. The dirt road we followed before has become an improved forest road, and although it has continued to be an uphill steadily, its slope has not been too great. We were able to cycle further in very comfortable conditions. The road is not a tourist road, but because it is well constructed it is easy for us to follow it.

Our road ends up in an asphalted forest road where we follow the yellow bike sign to the Rudolf Farm. When we turn right in front of the farm, a two-sign unmarked dirt road branches out. Moving on this dirt road, we will soon reach the Main Road 24, where we will cycle up to Mátrafüred.
The asphalt road to Kékestető starts off from Mátrafüred. Our next goal is to visit this. Riding our bike down after the mandatory photos, we soon reach the blue cross sign, from where an unmarked forest path leads us through a beautiful forest area to the Négyeshatár. From here we take the marked road (blue bike road) down to the Domoszlói-kapu.

At the Domoszlói-kapu, our trip between the two hills, the Lion Castle and the Jagus comes across the northern side of the Mátra. We are now cycling on the asphalt road towards Recsk. In one place the road splits in two, here we have to pay attention to turn in the right direction, otherwise we will arrive at Parad instead of Recsk. So always keep right on the asphalt road!

Reaching the red cross, we leave our road we used before and a forest road takes us to the last but one sight of our tour to the Forced Labor Camp of Recsk and its reconstructed buildings. Continuing from the camp on the asphalt road, we reach Recsk, where our tour ends.
