We start our bicycle tour on the football field at Felsőtárkány by the Main Road (Fő út). First, we take the bicycle path following the red bike sign towards Eger. At Felnémet, where the bicycle route ends, we turn right and continue following the red bicycle trail sign, passing the OMYA quarry all the way to Kálmánhegyi Road.
Here the red bicycle sign turns left and leaves the asphalt road and continues on Kálmánhegyi Road. However, we continue to follow the asphalt road through the bridge of the Mészvölgyi Brook and we go through the Mellér Valley (Mellér völgy) to the Varróház. From here we follow the red hiking path back to Felsőtárkány, to the starting point.
