We start our cycling tour in Tolmács. From the settlement we go on dirt road to Borsosberény, then from there on the asphalt road (Main Road 2) to Nagyoroszi. At the beginning of the village on the left, we start cycling on the blue bicycle sign to explore the mountains. First, we go on an asphalt road, past the old barracks, to Pénzásás.

From Pénzásás cycling in the nature, following the blue tour sign and the blue L sign we reach Drégelyvár. From the castle we continue on the red mark in the nature and then on the asphalt following the green bike sign we return to Pénzásás. From here, on the blue square sign, first on the asphalt, then on the dirt road we reach Királykút.

From the fountain we continue following the red sign on an asphalt road. We touch the bomb funnels and after a short climb we can admire the view at Závoz. Cycling further to the right, we turn off the red bike sign to a dirt road. This is an old military road, on which the blue bike sign continues. From the road you have an unforgettable panorama to the left of the area. Our road ends up on an asphalt road, now we follow the blue mark on the asphalt and we reach Királyrét.

We ride from Királyrét on the asphalt, touching Szokolya, Kismaros to Verőce. From the settlement on the asphalt the red sign leads us to Magyarkút, from where we will also follow the sign in the Les-völgy (völgy means valley) on a fantastic one-sign road to the Szokolya train station.

From the railway we reach Nógrád by following the red cross sign on the two-sign forest road. In the settlement, we visit the castle and then further on the asphalt road we cycle to Diósjenő. Leaving the settlement, at the height of Tolmács, to the right, an unmarked dirt road takes us to the starting point.
